Elementary StuCo just hosted a Peeps Diorama Display — and it was egg-ceptional! Students and staff had the chance to show off their creativity to create wildly creative scenes using Peeps. Check out the colorful, quirky displays that brought school spirit (and marshmallow mayhem) to life!

Our Middle School Student Council recently hosted a point-perfect celebration for National Pencil Day! During Prime Time, groups went head-to-head in a high-stakes engineering challenge: building the tallest pencil tower. Mrs. Colvin’s team took home the top prize, using a clever triangular base to secure their victory. The celebration wrapped up with a high-energy, "positions-based" version of musical chairs that was a total smash. The best part? Once the towers came down, the pencils were gifted to our wonderful Prime Time teachers!

Engineering and coding are two sides of the same coin: solving problems within a set of constraints. This week, the Sandy Creek Girls Who Code members were challenged to build structures that fit two teammates and featured multiple entry points and a roof. By working through these physical constraints, they practiced modular design—a core coding concept where you build small, reliable parts to create a complex system. Watching them collaborate to solve structural "bugs" was a fantastic display of the teamwork required in the world of STEAM.
