Hands on the home row! ⌨️
Students in 4th and 5th grade are sharpening their skills and focus on keeping their hands on home row. The fifth graders are working on their confidence and using hard work as they use home row. With confidence they master proper hand placement. Their building accuracy and their hand placement. 4th grade is just learning but is having so much fun. They have so much fun learning about typing.

Our mini mathematician‘s in Miss Davis first grade class are using their powerful brains to figure out patterns in math. We are so proud of how hard they are thinking about one more and one less. They can surprise you with the mathematical skills they learned. They are exercising their math brains.

There is nothing quite like the magic of storytime. Mrs Hansen reads aloud the story “Three Hens and the Peacock” to her second grade class. Watching these bright minds get lost in a book is the absolute best part of the day.

JH VB season comes to an end!
The A team brought home 2nd place and the B team finished 3rd place! We are so proud of the growth these girls showed throughout the season.
A special shoutout to our 8th graders, wishing you all the best as you head to high school next year! 🏐
Mrs. Spray’s kindergarten class is diving into sight words and sentence building during reading. These students are working incredibly hard on their daily reading goals and sentence structures. Watching these young learners' eyes light up as they put the pieces of a story together is the absolute best part of the day. This approach helps contain all kinds of learning styles while keeping the whole group focused.

Sparking Creativity, Not Fires
In Preschool they have been learning about fire safety. They transformed into tiny community helpers as they learned about fire safety. They used red and orange tissue paper and water to make safe fun fire crafts. They heard smoke alarm sounds and they learned about them. Preschool had so much fun learning more about fire safety. 🔥🧯

Due to low numbers for Sutton due to injuries and illness there will not be a JV Football game tonight. Our boys will still have an inter-squad scrimmage for the JV team following the JH Game at 6:00.
We are working on adding a game next Monday to make up for the games lost.
