Mark your calendars for the SC Youth Wrestling Tournament Saturday March 8th!

Hadley Borer and Zailey Spilker competed in district History Day at Hastings College on Tuesday. Both competed in the senior individual paper category against 9th-12th grade students. They both represented Sandy Creek very well! Zailey placed 4th and Hadley placed 2nd and qualified for state. She will compete at Nebraska Wesleyan University in April. Congratulations Hadley and Zailey!

FFA Results:
The students had a great showing at our district CDE contests yesterday. We had many students ribbon and place individually and two teams qualified for state!
There were over 600 students competing in the various contests yesterday, and only the top 50% of teams and individuals received a ribbon. Some of these contests had over 50 students competing, so if a student ribboned, they did very well!
Here are the results:
Meats Evaluation - Jacob Petr, Ethan Shaw, Christian Shaw, Connor Rempe
- District Champs/State Qualifier
- Ethan placed 1st, Jacob was 2nd, Chrstian was 3rd, and Connor was 6th
- This team scored over 200 points higher than the 2nd place team....they blew everyone out of the water!
Agronomy 1 - Josh Spray, Jackson Gerdes, Wes Biltoft, Alex Watts
- 4th place/State Qualifier
- all 4 boys ribboned individually
Our Vet Science team was also very close to qualifying! They got 5th place, and the top 3 go to state. Jadynn Vandeventer ribboned and placed 11th individually in that contest.
Other results are:
Agriscience Team - 11th place/White Ribbon
- Jade Vonspreckelsen, Ella Crumbliss, Harper Lange, and Caitlyn Biltoft all ribboned individually
Agronomy 2 Team - 7th place
Farm Business Team - 12th place
- Cailee League ribboned individually
Food Science team - 14th place
Livestock Management Team - 14th place
Natural Resources Team - 10th place/White ribbon
- Connor Calderon ribboned individually, placing 10th overall
If you see these kids, please tell them great job! They all worked very hard to prepare!
Because of the great work these kids have put in, we have 20 students competing or receiving a degree at State Convention this year. That is awesome! We are going to have a busy few days in Lincoln in April!

🌟 We're almost there! 🌟 Donations for the Kids Heart Challenge are due by February 28th, and we're so close to our goal! Every contribution makes a difference in saving young hearts! ❤️💖

FBLA, NHS, and FCA teamed up to take 40 students to pack meals for Hearts and Hands Against Hunger. We packed over 18,000 meals today!

🌟 Our second graders are exploring the colorful world of pixels! They've been busy designing their own Pokémon characters using Google Sheets. 🖥️🎨 Next week, we'll turn those digital masterpieces into vibrant creations with perler beads!
