Sandy Creek One Act is putting on their One Act performance at Clay Center School, Friday November 22nd and Saturday November 23rd.
Doors will be open for free admission with free will donations to the One Act club at 6:30 PM and doors will shut and play will begin at 7:00 PM both nights.
There will be popcorn and fresh beverages provided.
The team would love it if you would join us for a performance of "Things Fall (Meanwhile)!
Parents: There are still girl EBA forms coming in (and attached there is a copy in case your daughter did not bring one home last week). This Saturday (November 16th) we will spend the first 30-35 minutes practicing with their coaches, before playing a game. Grades 3rd - 6th

The senior Government class was able to visit the Eisenhower Presidential Museum and Library in Abilene, KS on Thursday. They explored Ike's boyhood home, place of rest and meditation, and the museum devoted to his time as an Army General and President of the United States. They also participated in an escape room about the Cold War using primary sources from the Museum collection.

Due to Superior qualifying for the state volleyball tournament they are moving the JH Boys Wrestling Tournament to Saturday, November 23 at 10:00.
Government students took a trip to the courthouse on Election Day to drop off their ballots and familiarize themselves with the voting process in Clay County.
Sophomores had the opportunity to attend the Connecting the Dots Simulation, which is organized and operated by several local University of Nebraska Extension offices.
Students dove into workshops where they:
🔹 Completed personality profiles
🔹 Took skills assessments
🔹 Critiqued resumes
They then learned how to leverage their unique results to explore career paths that align with both their skills and personality. Plus, students left with new tools to update and strengthen their resumes!
The afternoon brought even more excitement as students engaged in the simulation activity—working in small groups to navigate real-life scenarios and figure out how to pursue education and training for their dream careers.
A HUGE thank you to Educational Service Unit 9 and all the local businesses that sponsored this incredible event and made it possible for our students! Your support helps shape the future of our next generation of leaders.
