Due to illness and injuries in both programs there will be NO JV Girls Game at Fairbury today.

The JV Boys Game will now be at 4:30 at the High School with Varsity Girls and Boys to immediately follow.

Sandy Creek TeamMates Chicken Fried Steak Fundraiser, Thursday, January 29th during the SC vs Sutton basketball games.

Sandy Creek will have a two-hour late start on Monday, January 26th. Buses will run accordingly—no morning half-day pre-school students.

Middle School Student Council Fundraiser
The Middle School Student Council is raising funds to continue providing students with fun monthly activities and friendly competitions throughout the year. Some student favorites this year have included Play-Doh sculpture challenges and LEGO turkey-building competitions. Student Council has also treated every student to a Halloween goodie, a cookie on National Cookie Day, and snacks and entertainment before Christmas.

To help Student Council continue offering these enjoyable activities, please consider sending a donation to school with your child. Students may place their donation in the jar labeled with the prime teacher they would most like to see wearing an inflatable tutu costume on February 13. Thank you for supporting our students and helping make school a fun and engaging place! 🎉

The Sandy Creek FFA chapter competed in fall Leadership Development Events yesterday in Aurora, NE. Among the two Ag Demonstration teams, the Senior Public Speaker, and the Creed Speaker, everyone did well in their contests. Bindi Senske placed 1st in Creed Speaking, making her the top creed speaker in our district of 19 schools. She will be advancing onto the state competition to compete again in early April. Congratulations to the students on a successful day!

Due to high flu rates and cold weather, there will be no school or junior high basketball on Friday, Jan. 23rd. Use this time to rest and recover. Varsity activities continue as planned.

Due to low numbers on their teams right now Superior has had to cancel the JV Games for tomorrow night. With that in mind, we will move up the start times for the Varsity Games to 5:00 starting with the Girls Game and the Boys to immediately follow (6:30-6:45 Roughly).
Parents Night Ceremonies for both teams will continue as planned,. Parents please line-up in the hallway by the weight room before warm-ups begin for each game. Thanks!
