We had a special visitor at school on Wednesday to celebrate for Read Across America Week.
Alissa Harrington, Mrs. Nebraska and Channel 4 News Anchor, read a story to all elementary students today and then took time to visit with students and answer questions.
It was a great addition to the week! 😊

The American History class completed a project this week concerning groups that contributed to WWII. Students were required to make a plaque to award these groups for their contributions. These are two great examples of the fantastically creative students we have at Sandy Creek!

5th Grade Tar Wars
Thank you to HS Art teacher Mrs. Reed and the NAHS students for judging the posters. Special thanks to Tamilla Fitzke for the generous art supply donations. The students enjoyed working with professional grade markers and colored pencils.

Always glad to hear.
I am a Norfolk Catholic fan and I am thankful for your what I believe to be a talented student led broadcast of the game tonight. I wanted to extend my appreciation to the announcer. He sounded young and I felt he and the rest of the camera crew did an AMAZING job of broadcasting the game! He has a future in broadcasting I’m confident! I just wanted to share that with someone. You have a talented bunch of kids there both on and off the court.
