We had a special visitor at school on Wednesday to celebrate for Read Across America Week. Alissa Harrington, Mrs. Nebraska and Channel 4 News Anchor, read a story to all elementary students today and then took time to visit with students and answer questions. It was a great addition to the week! 😊 #WeAreSC #ReadAcrossAmerica #Local4 #AlissaHarrington

The American History class completed a project this week concerning groups that contributed to WWII. Students were required to make a plaque to award these groups for their contributions. These are two great examples of the fantastically creative students we have at Sandy Creek!

Always glad to hear. I am a Norfolk Catholic fan and I am thankful for your what I believe to be a talented student led broadcast of the game tonight. I wanted to extend my appreciation to the announcer. He sounded young and I felt he and the rest of the camera crew did an AMAZING job of broadcasting the game! He has a future in broadcasting I’m confident! I just wanted to share that with someone. You have a talented bunch of kids there both on and off the court. #WeAreSC #Striv
