🌟🎓Senior Spotlight 🎓🌟
The Middle School Girls Who Code and MATHCounts members enjoyed a tour of the Central Community College Campus and participated in a design thinking activity today. We also learned about a STEM summer camp open to all middle school students. The camp will be held for four weeks in June from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm Monday- Friday. The camp is free for participants as it is sponsored and paid for by Verizon. The students will be given breakfast, a snack, and lunch for free and will learn about coding, robotics, drones, and more. Middle school students can get more information from Mrs. Switzer if they are interested in attending this STEM summer camp.

Sandy Creek's Girls Who Code proudly hosted their 2nd Annual Science Fair, and what a delightful event it was! The creativity and enthusiasm of these young scientists truly shone through in their impressive projects.
Each display was filled with innovative ideas and unique approaches to science, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of the participants. It was heartwarming to see their hard work come to life, sparking curiosity and excitement in everyone who attended!

4th Graders Explore Energy!
In our exciting science adventure, 4th graders dove into the world of energy! They became energy explorers, experimenting with kinetic and potential energy to create amazing chain reactions.
As they set up their experiments, they watched energy jump from one thing to another, just like magic! They had to think like engineers, designing their setups to see how energy could flow and change.
With each experiment, they discovered how fun and fascinating energy can be.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Esports team who has qualified all 3 teams for the spring State Competition!!!! Fortnite will be held March 29th. Rocket League will be held April 11th and Valorant will be held April 12th at Doane University in Crete.
