4th Graders Explore Energy! In our exciting science adventure, 4th graders dove into the world of energy! They became energy explorers, experimenting with kinetic and potential energy to create amazing chain reactions. As they set up their experiments, they watched energy jump from one thing to another, just like magic! They had to think like engineers, designing their setups to see how energy could flow and change. With each experiment, they discovered how fun and fascinating energy can be. The MATHCounts team, Owen Spray, Mason Luckey, Charlie Shaw, and Bridger Koopman, competed in the state meet at UNL on Saturday, March 22nd. They celebrated qualifying for and competing in the event by riding Scheel's ferris wheel and having ice cream.

Coach Hansen held a Record Board Ceremony recently to update two school records broken last year by Owen Oglesby in the 200M Dash and Owen and Oliver Oglesby, Kaeden Schmidt, and Ben Sullivan in the 4 x 100 M Relay. Congratulations boys!

Prom is still on for tomorrow and will be at the school in Clay Center. Junior and Senior Parents/Guardians - More information will be sent via email once we have new times in place to accommodate our vendors helping with prom. Thank you all for your patience. Picture envelopes will be available tomorrow if your child forgot to grab one. Please bring check or cash tomorrow to pay for pictures.

Due to the school being without power and the widespread power outages across our district, we will not have school tomorrow, Thursday, Mar. 20. Information about evening activities on Thursday will be decided later.
