The Girls Basketball Subdistrict game vs Sutton at Cross County is being moved up to 4:00 today. Parents, if you cannot drive your daughter to SC please respond to Coach Blackwell's SportsYou post and either Mr Searle, Mr Swartzendruber, or Mr Blackwell will pick them up.

Our number 1 priority is safety. Preschool through 12th grade will have a 2-hour late start and buses will run accordingly on Thursday, February 13. With a 2-hour late start, there will be no breakfast, no morning preschool and no morning activities for Thursday, February 13. 🚌

Parent Teacher Conferences for today at Sandy Creek will be virtual; not in person. PK-5 teachers will use the current scheduled conference times. 6-12 teachers have established sign-up processes to help parents plan accordingly as well.

The girls wrestling team competed in Falls City for the first day of districts. We have 7 out of the 8 wrestlers still alive for day 2!! We refueled at A&G steakhouse, thanks Stengel Family! Go Cougars!

Wednesday was a busy day for many of our FFA members! We had two teams compete in the first set of district CDE contests. Here are the results: 🔵 WELDING: Connor Rempe, Dax Shipley, Jackson Gerdes, and Jack Watts - placed 8th overall and a white team ribbon - Dax received a red ribbon individually - Jackson received a white ribbon individually 🔵 AG SALES: Paige Stengel, Ava Hubl, Madalyn Andersen, and Kinsli Bolte - placed 3rd overall and qualified for State! 🏆 - Paige placed 2nd individually - Kinsli placed 3rd individually We also had 5 students apply and interview for their State FFA Degree. This is a huge honor that requires years of record keeping and active leadership and involvement in the FFA Chapter. All 5 students were approved and will be receiving their degree on stage at State Convention. The recipients are: - Ethan Shaw - Jacob Petr - Brooke Dooley - Connor Rempe - Kaelyn Crumbliss Great work to all the kids!

Sweet Affair of the Arts is this Tuesday, Feb 11, at Sandy Creek High School from 5-7. This night features the high school art show, performances by the speech team, silent auction, food, and more!
