The girls wrestling team competed in Falls City for the first day of districts. We have 7 out of the 8 wrestlers still alive for day 2!! We refueled at A&G steakhouse, thanks Stengel Family! Go Cougars!

Wednesday was a busy day for many of our FFA members!
We had two teams compete in the first set of district CDE contests. Here are the results:
🔵 WELDING: Connor Rempe, Dax Shipley, Jackson Gerdes, and Jack Watts
- placed 8th overall and a white team ribbon
- Dax received a red ribbon individually
- Jackson received a white ribbon individually
🔵 AG SALES: Paige Stengel, Ava Hubl, Madalyn Andersen, and Kinsli Bolte
- placed 3rd overall and qualified for State! 🏆
- Paige placed 2nd individually
- Kinsli placed 3rd individually
We also had 5 students apply and interview for their State FFA Degree. This is a huge honor that requires years of record keeping and active leadership and involvement in the FFA Chapter. All 5 students were approved and will be receiving their degree on stage at State Convention.

Sweet Affair of the Arts is this Tuesday, Feb 11, at Sandy Creek High School from 5-7. This night features the high school art show, performances by the speech team, silent auction, food, and more!
