Updates to the most recent Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy 5615.00 (reviewed annually) is included in the Student Handbook (page 98 of 2020-2021 Student Handbook).
Testing Transparency Notification:
At the beginning of each school year, Districts shall notify the parents of each student attending any school receiving Title I funds that the parents may request (and in a timely manner), information regarding any State or District policy regarding student participation in any assessments. ยง1112(e)(2)(A)
Notification of Teacher Qualifications:
The Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 gives parents/guardians the right to request information about the professional qualifications of their child's classroom teachers. Upon request (and in a timely manner), the agency will give parents/guardians the following information about their child's teacher:
Whether the teacher has met state qualifications and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction
Whether the teacher is teaching under an emergency or provisional teaching certificate
Is teaching in the field of discipline of the certification of the teacher
Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications
